DLF Limited (formerly Delhi Land & Finance) is India’s largest publicly listed real estate developer by market capitalization. It was founded in 1946 by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh in New Delhi, initially developing 22 urban colonies in Delhi, including well-known localities like Model Town, Greater Kailash, Hauz Khas, and South Extension. In 1985, DLF expanded into Gurugram (then Gurgaon), playing a pivotal role in transforming the area into a major business and residential hub. Today, DLF operates across 15 states and 24 cities in India, with a portfolio spanning residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality assets totaling over 352 million sq. ft. of developed space.
